This policy explains how and why Tornado Tidy collects, uses, and stores photographs of your property during our cleaning services.
Types of Photos We Take
1. Quality Assurance Photos
- Purpose: Verify work completion and quality standards
- When: Before and after service
- What: Overall room conditions, specific cleaning tasks
- Retention: 90 days
- Usage: Internal quality control only
- Privacy: Confidential, not shared publicly
2. Billing Documentation Photos
- Purpose: Justify additional billing for conditions differing from booking
- When: Upon arrival if discrepancies found
- What: Property size, uncleaned areas, heavy soil, pet hair, clutter
- Retention: 24 months
- Usage: Billing evidence, dispute resolution
- Privacy: Shared only with client and in legal proceedings if necessary
3. Marketing & Promotional Photos
- Purpose: Showcase our work for marketing materials
- When: After service, with best results
- What: Beautifully cleaned spaces highlighting our work
- Retention: Indefinite, unless removal requested
- Usage: Website, social media, advertisements, portfolios
- Privacy: Identifiable information removed/blurred
Your Privacy Rights
Opt-Out Options
- Marketing Photos: Opt out within 7 days of service
- Quality Assurance: Cannot opt out (business necessity)
- Billing Documentation: Cannot opt out (legal protection)
Request Photo Removal
Email privacy@tornadotidy.com with:
- Booking confirmation number
- Date of service
- Specific photos (if known) or all photos
We will process requests within 14 days.
How We Protect Your Privacy
- Security Measures: Encrypted storage, access controls, audit logs.
- Before Public Use: Personal items blurred, identifying info removed.

By booking with Tornado Tidy, you:
- Consent to property photography per this policy
- Understand photo types and usage
- Acknowledge your opt-out rights
- Agree to 7-day opt-out window for marketing photos
